Mediterranean Chickpea Salad is refreshing, nutritious and easy to make.
The ChickPea salad recipe also boasts of a sweet and tangy homemade Yoghurt dressing with a touch of Cumin seeds.
To make this powerhouse of a Salad, you’ll need the following;
250g of cooked Chickpeas
200g of Halloumi / Wagashi / Paneer
1 medium sized Cucumber
1 medium sized Red Onion
2 large or 4 medium sized Tomatoes
1 mild Red Chilli
1 tablespoonful of chopped Carrot Tops or Parsley
Fresh Mint leaves to garnish
40ml of blended Natural Yoghurt
2 tablespoonful of Honey
10ml of Extra Virgin Olive oil
1 levelled teaspoon of Cumin seeds
Salt and Pepper to taste
